The St Neots Initiative (SNI) is a community-powered catalyst for positive change, rooted in the belief that local people should shape the future of the place they live, work, and play.

To achieve this vision, we are guided by four key pillars of focus:

  • People: Enhancing the quality of life for St Neots residents by creating a safe, inclusive, and sustainable community.
  • Places: Promoting the development of high-quality private sector infrastructure in St Neots, including commercial and residential developments, to support the needs of the community.
  • Prosperity: Supporting the local economy through the development of local businesses, the attraction of new investment, and the promotion of St Neots as a destination for visitors.
  • Principles: Championing the town by promoting and advocating for St Neots regionally and nationally.

SNI has brought together citizens, businesses, educators, and local authorities for nearly three decades to co-create solutions to the town’s biggest challenges and unlock its greatest opportunities. We act as a convener of people and ideas, supporting and delivering projects that build well-being, connection, and long-term impact.

Our focus is on energising the People, Places, Prosperity and Principles of St Neots through transparent collaboration, practical action, and a growing membership that reflects the diversity of our town.

SNI supports a number of active Working Groups and Associates—from sport and education to redevelopment and cultural life. These groups are empowered to lead, innovate and deliver change while staying aligned with SNI’s vision of a town where everyone can grow.

Through ongoing gatherings, open outcome sharing, and shared leadership, we’re ensuring that St Neots is not only heard, but also heard by each other.

SNI Clubs & Groups

Our members meet on a regular basis; at planning/execution meetings, and for the working groups and clubs.

As someone born and raised in this town, in recent years it’s been amazing to watch the creative spirit of St Neots grow. I feel very privileged to be on this journey with so many others that give their time to inspire the change required to make this town an even better place to live, work and play.
