05 Apr Citizen Hub – Recruitment Support Volunteer
Purpose of the Role:
Employment is at the heart of what the Hub does. You’ll connect citizens to real opportunities and give them the confidence and tools to go for them.
Key Tasks:
- Support citizens with CVs, cover letters, and job applications.
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers to bring live opportunities into the Hub.
- Offer mock interviews and constructive application feedback.
- Help citizens understand the local job market and navigate it with confidence.
Skills & Qualities:
- Experience in recruitment, HR, or careers guidance is helpful.
- Encouraging, non-judgmental, and patient.
- Good knowledge of the local labour market a bonus.
Time Commitment:
Half a day per week (flexible day and time).
