Citizen Hub – Meet & Greet Volunteer

Purpose of the Role:
First impressions matter. You’ll be the anchor at the door — helping people find their feet, feel safe, and know they’re in the right place.

Key Tasks:

• Welcome every citizen warmly as they arrive.
• Help visitors understand what’s on and where to go.
• Make introductions between citizens and the right team members or services.
• Keep the entrance area calm, safe and easy to navigate.
• Act as an early signal if someone needs additional support.

Skills & Qualities:

• Naturally warm and confident with new people.
• Calm and steady — especially in a busy environment.
• Good listener who picks up on how people are really doing.
• No formal qualifications needed.

Time Commitment:
One session per week (morning or afternoon, flexible).
