Tea & Coffee Maker (Hub Hospitality Volunteer)

Purpose of the Role:
To create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at the Citizen Hub by offering refreshments and chatting with visitors. Sometimes the smallest acts — like a good cup of tea — can make a big difference in someone’s day!

Key Tasks:

• Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and simple refreshments to visitors, volunteers, and staff

• Keep the kitchen area clean and stocked

• Offer a warm welcome to anyone visiting the Hub

• Help make the Hub feel like a comfortable, inclusive community space

• (Optional) Support at events and gatherings with refreshments

Skills & Qualities:

• Friendly and approachable

• Enjoys chatting with people and putting them at ease

• Reliable and happy to be part of a team

• Basic kitchen confidence (training provided if needed)

Time Commitment:
Flexible — ideally a regular slot each week or to support key events
