Citizen Hub – DIY & Maintenance Volunteer

Purpose of the Role:
Things wear out, wobble, and need fixing — and you’re the person who sorts it. You’ll keep the Hub’s environment safe, functional, and always improving.

Key Tasks:

• Carry out small repairs and maintenance tasks as they arise.
• Set up and reconfigure furniture and spaces for different events and sessions.
• Support the team with regular safety checks across the Hub.
• Suggest and help implement environmental improvements where you spot an opportunity.

Skills & Qualities:

• Practical and handy — you get things done without fuss.
• Safety-conscious and reliable.
• Self-directed and happy to use your initiative.
• No formal trade qualifications needed.

Time Commitment:
Flexible and ad-hoc — as and when needed.
