05 Apr Citizen Hub – Digital Ally Volunteer
Purpose of the Role:
For many of our citizens, digital is still a barrier. You’ll help reduce it — patiently, practically, one form, one application, one account at a time.
Key Tasks:
- Support citizens with job applications, searches, and online forms.
- Help people set up and navigate emails, accounts, and digital services.
- Build digital confidence in a calm, non-judgmental way.
- Signpost to further digital skills support where it would help.
Skills & Qualities:
- Patient, encouraging, and able to explain things simply without jargon.
- Comfortable with standard browsers, email and online tools.
- No formal IT qualifications needed — just the ability to help someone feel capable.
Time Commitment:
Half a day per week (flexible).
