DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT EXECUTIVE

Due to an increase in activity with multiple Keystone clients, we are looking to run a pilot that will see us
building a new role for our consultancy; to specifically support the digital engagement of key client
campaigns and projects.

 

Audience engagement is a core Keystone specialism and our work in this area is growing significantly. This is
an opportunity to help shape our digital engagement capability in this emerging space. Previous experience
and proven impact in a digital marketing role is essential.

 

The purpose of this role is to coordinate digital communication campaign development and social media
engagement to ensure the success of digital marketing within our client campaigns. As a member of the
Keystone team, you’ll be working within a wider community of content creators, delivery leads, and other
engagement specialists. You will report to Keystone’s Head of Communications and will have direct
interactions with Keystone clients.

 

Activity may involve but is not limited to:

● Responsible for the writing, design and evaluation of a variety of digital content – predominantly
utilised for social media but also likely to include email newsletters and wider digital marketing
approaches.
● Be a leading content creator within the team to support the production of our communications
campaigns to achieve optimum engagement and meet often tight deadlines.
● Contribute towards the development of digital strategies for clients, bringing forward knowledge of
up to date best practice and guidelines as well as championing accessibility.
● On-going monitoring and data and metrics analysis sourced from multiple platforms and systems.
● Preparing campaign reports that offer clear insights and recommendations to optimise campaign
results.
● Running or contributing to client meetings, face to face and online.
● Ensuring client satisfaction across all experiences and outputs.
● Proactively identifying story ideas and content creation – shaping and upholding clear written
communications standards and a consistent style.
● Offering relevant advice on communications, channels, and engagement to the team and wider
stakeholders.

● ESSENTIAL: Understand how to create engaging, accessible, and accurately written content.
● ESSENTIAL: Expertise in understanding best practice use of social media channels (primarily LinkedIn,
Facebook, Instagram and X).
● ESSENTIAL: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
● ESSENTIAL: Being up to date with the latest digital marketing tools, technologies and best practices.

● ESSENTIAL: Strong analytical skills – with the ability to analyse digital marketing data and draw
insights and recommendations.
● ESSENTIAL: The ability to cultivate relationships with team members and collaborators across our
organisation and with our clients.

● ESSENTIAL: Technical aptitude, excellent communication skills and a desire to improve processes.
● DESIRABLE: Experience with online graphic design tools, e.g Canva
● DESIRABLE: Experience with social media analytics and planning tools, e.g. Metricool
DESIRABLE: Familiarity with General Data Protection Regulations and other relevant data protection
laws.

This contract is initially offered for a 12 week period with an immediate start available. Contract likely to run
between March to May or April to June 2024. A contract extension or transfer to a permanent position may
also be an opportunity after the initial contract period.

 

The postholder can be based at Keystone HQ in St Neots or the role can be delivered in a hybrid working
environment (with some office visits required during the contract period, to be agreed). The contract salary is
offered at £28,000 FTE and will be pro-rata’d; as will the holiday allocation which is set at 28 days annually
(including bank holidays).
