Citizen Hub – Hospitality & Front of House Volunteer

Purpose of the Role:
To create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at the Citizen Hub by offering refreshments and chatting with visitors. Sometimes the smallest acts — like a good cup of tea — can make a big difference in someone’s day!

Key Tasks:

• Greet visitors and make them feel welcome.
• Prepare and serve hot drinks (barista training provided).
• Keep the café/bar area tidy and stocked.
• Support event setup and general upkeep of the space.
• Answer basic visitor questions and direct them to the right person.

Skills & Qualities:

• Friendly, approachable, and enjoys talking to people.
• Reliable and confident under pressure.
• Basic hospitality or customer service experience is helpful, not essential.
• Team player who enjoys being part of a busy, social environment.

Time Commitment:
Regular slot each week – 1 weekday, 10am-4pm (can be flexible)
